The college sports department works
in consultation with the sports committee comprising teachers and
Physical Education teacher. The sports committee plans sport schedule
for each academic year. The college has a sports field for different
games like cricket, football and volley ball, including a special
basket ball court. Indoor sports like Shuttle Badminton, Chess, Table
tennis, etc. are equally encouraged.
The sports department of the college
has been organizing inter-college tournaments in Basketball,
volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi and Throw ball for girls. Every year
several students from the college are representing Bangalore
University in various disciplines of sports. Teaching staff also take
active part in sports activity, intercollegiate competitions in
cricket and shuttle badminton. |
